Auto Express 公佈 2012 Car of the Year 角逐結果，Peugeot RCZ 擠掉 Audi TT，榮獲 Best Coupe 獎項，甫上市之 Peugeot 208 奪得 Best Supermini 頭銜，擊退 Audi A1 並把 Ford Fiesta 從往年的寶座拉下。詳情請見 最新一期 Auto Express。
Auto Express 總編 Steve Fowler 接受 Peugeot UK 訪問時表示：「Peugeot 重返小車級距龍頭地位，208 包辦造型、品質、空間與實用性，同時兼具極佳效能與良好操控。」Steve Fowler 小車級距指的是 Supermini (歐洲車業或以 B-segment 稱之)。不只僅此一家媒體給予 Peugeot 208 諸如此類的亮眼評價，自從 Peugeot 208 陸續於歐陸各地接受評測時開始，各車評的反應普遍皆有一掃前嫌，相較 207 有著長足提升之感受。
